Buttons Vs. Links: Which Is the Call-to-Action Hero?

Thursday, June 28, 2007 by eec Blog Contributor

My MediaPost column this week, Buttons Vs. Links: Which Is The Call-to-Action Hero?, is about whether buttons or links perform better as calls-to-action. The column presents some research I did into what retailers do with their primary and secondary calls-to-action, and discusses some evidence that buttons are the superior primary call-to-action.

But the EEC would really like to know what you think. So we've set up a Two-Click Survey on the our homepage that asks whether you think primary calls-to-action perform better as links or buttons. Visit the EEC homepage today to vote and I'll let you know next week which way the community is leaning.
